Child Safety Notice

A Safe Learning Sanctuary

At Quest Nest, a proud product of Lamareen Ltd, child safety is our absolute, non-negotiable priority. We design our user experience around the principle of a "digital sanctuary"—a calm, high-quality, and highly-secure environment where children can build life habits without distraction or risk.

1. Zero Third-Party Advertising

We believe kids should learn and play, not be targeted by advertisers. Quest Nest contains zero third-party advertisements, cookie trackers, or product placement banners. We do not rent or sell child profiles or quest completion logs to data brokers, ensuring your children remain isolated from tracking algorithms.

2. PIN-Gate Safety Controls

All areas of the parent-level configuration dashboards (including task planners, analytics reports, star balances, and present updates) are protected by a secure 4-digit parent PIN. This PIN-gate uses modern cryptographic SHA-256 subtle hashing to authenticate parents and includes automated lockout timers to prevent unauthorized brute-force attempts by children or others.

3. A Closed Family Loop (No Public Socialization)

Unlike many online platforms, Quest Nest is built for private family units. The app contains no global chats, no public forums, and no random player matchmaking. All leaderboard features, star market investments, and avatar comparisons are strictly local to siblings registered under the same parent account, creating a safe family loop.

4. Positive Reinforcement Design

Our gamified designs prioritize positive reinforcements over addictive stress triggers:

  • Calm Aesthetics: Styled with harmonious soft gradients, Deep Space Blue tones, and custom rounded grids to ensure screen time remains relaxing.
  • No Penalty Mechanics: Children are never punished, demoted, or docked stars for missed habits. The game only rewards progression, keeping the experience supportive.
  • Parental Review: All child-requested custom quest pitches are held in a pending state until approved by the parent.
